Prayer Series
A dynamic six-week program (7:00 - 9:00 pm), held in various parishes
throughout metro Detroit, which teaches
couples how to safely grow in their capacity for shared Couple Prayer, and
to encourage couples’ continued commitment to praying together not just
as a six-week program experience at their parish but as way of life that
will dramatically enhance their faith, their personal relationship, and
the faith and well-being of their children.

& Married Young Adults
The Archdiocese of Detroit, through the
funding of the Central Services Appeal (CSA), provides a variety of
resources for engaged and married young adults.
 Pre-Marriage
Seminar
A one-day retreat for couples
presented by a married Catholic couple designed to:
- Examine the essential challenges in
creating a healthy, lifelong Christian marriage
- Lead couples to explore the strengths
and weaknesses in their relationship
- Provide practical tools and resources to
support creating a solid Christian marriage
Before You Say "I Do"
By appointment
A marriage preparation program for couples entering their first
marriage. Topics include: family of origin, communication, intimacy and
sexuality, conflict resolution, commitment, spirituality and sacrament,
children, and careers. Each couple attends two sessions. $75.00 per couple
in cash or check to be paid at first session. Upcoming sessions include:

A pre-marriage inventory to enhance couple communication &
understanding. Complements Before You Say "I Do".
To Trust Again

A remarriage preparation program for couples when one or both persons have
been previously married. Includes remarriage inventory.

A parish or vicariate enrichment program for young families in the first
five years of marriage, exploring the predictable and unpredictable
changes in life.
Living
in Transition
By request
A two-session marriage enrichment program for couples seeking to have
their marriage blessed by the Church.
Intimacy & Sacrament
By request
A parish marriage enrichment program for couples married over five years.
Couples explore how to increase emotional, sexual, and spiritual intimacy
with each other.
